The ever so entertaining camaraderie between Amar-Premīromance has never looked this adorable on screen as Amar and Prem made it happen in this film. At par with him was Paresh Rawal as Teja who added the right amount of excitement and humour to the story with his brilliantly essayed double role. Shakti Kapoor as Crime Master Gogo was a refreshingly lighthearted contrast to Hindi cinema’s blood-angry villains who didn’t only make audiences across India laugh harder every time they watched the film but also managed to rank this character in the list of most loved villains ever.
